Cavedons

Cavedon’s kilnhouse, named after the Italian Cavedon family and former owners of the farm, features 2 separate living spaces, each contained within separate kilns moved from the original farm.

Cavedons is ideal for weekend getaways, luxury family escapes or wellness retreats. The overall ambience of Cavedons is elegance and comfort. It is a three-bedroom house featuring polished concrete floors with washed grey pine accents and one of the best window seats in the region.

Luxurious high living spaces

Cavedons kilnhouse provides two luxurious high living spaces lined with washed grey pine to match polished concrete floors. Each has its own television, and one of the best imposing views of Mt Buffalo.

The two living spaces are separated by the central kitchen and both open out to the dining area on the outdoor deck.

King sized sleeping

The main bedroom with king sized bed and adjoining bathroom with a spa, has floor to ceiling views of Mt Buffalo and the vineyard – we recommend keeping the blinds up at night.

The second bedroom has a king sized bed and shares a separate bathroom with the third bedroom which has two long singles – which can be made into a king bed.

For all seasons

Cavedons can be enjoyed at all times of the year. For winter, a wood fire, heated floors and a drying cabinet for ski gear. In summer, vine covered verandah with sublime views of the vineyard and Mt Buffalo rivalling the best of Tuscany.

Autumn puts on a display of gold and crimson, and spring brings wildflowers to enjoy. Enjoy the special beauty of seasons changing from one of the many windows or out on the picturesque wooden deck.

A fabulous place with wonderful views to Mt Buffalo. We stayed for a few nights in summer and ate-in as much as possible to enjoy the views and ambience. The best airbnb I have ever stayed at.
