Terms and conditions

If you have found the kilnhouses, we know you have an eye for quality and appreciate comfort and style. We know you’ll love the kilnhouses, but over our last 10 years of making these houses available for rent, and to be on the safe side, we have outlined some terms & conditions of your stay.

• Minimum stay 2 nights. (One night may be possible by arrangement (with extra tariff).
• Minimum stay 3-4 nights during public holiday weekends.
• Minimum 4 night stay during end of year/January School holidays and festive season.
• The Sorting Shed kilnhouse is an adult retreat only.
• EXTRA GUESTS: All bookings are calculated on the basis of the maximum number of people who stay in one of the houses for a single booking period.
• As a general rule no Saturday or Sunday check ins due to cleaner availability. Please contact stay@kilnhouse.com.au if you would like to discuss.
• No pets.
• The Sorting Shed is kept as an adult only retreat. Cavedons and Eurobin Kilnhouse are family friendly.
• Maximum house numbers are strictly based on number of beds in each house. Infants and children are included in this number.

Bookings of 2 or more Kilnhouses for one family or friends group

• Group bookings of 2 or more houses are calculated as whole house bookings rather than individual numbers of people in each house. Group bookings incur an extra cleaning fee of $150 per house.

Payment and check in details

• Full payment is required by EFT for a booking to be secured (unless otherwise arranged).
• Check-in is from 3pm on the first date of your booking.
• Check-out is 11am on the morning after the last night of your stay (unless otherwise arranged).
• No parties or functions. The Kilnhouses are very special homes designed and styled for relaxation not large groups.
• Valuable Stud Angus cattle will be on the property so please shut all gates which you open and don’t get zapped on the electric fences.
• No dogs allowed.

Refund and cancellation policy

If we are notified more than 30 days before your check-in that rescheduling or cancellation is required, we will do whatever we can to accommodate your request including providing a refund, credit or rescheduling your booking. Changes to your booking within the 30 day period are not refundable.

COVID Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel your booking because of COVID related reasons, we can accommodate this via a refund or credit your booking.
